Research Interests & Projects
Targeted and untargeted metabolomics in medicinal plants and tea. I have a proven track record of 14 peer-reviewed publications in such journals as Food Chemistry and Plant Physiology and Biochemistry. Over the years, I have developed a passion for education and mentoring, and I have taught several courses and labs at UBC Okanagan, including a full third-year chemistry course (Chem 317: Environmental Organic Physical Chemistry). My teaching philosophy emphasizes helping students discover their own passion and motivation for study and fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
