Biography
Sarah is a designated Chartered Professional of Human Resources and has spent many years as an advisor, building and shaping the HR departments of businesses spanning a variety of industries – from small start-ups to large, national corporations. Sarah has extensive knowledge in HR strategy and top talent acquisition and is passionate about designing positive employee experiences that shape, influence and inspire company culture. She has won numerous company awards for her work in this area and now enjoys coaching young entrepreneurs on the benefits of developing a positive workplace culture, as the build and grow their ventures. Sarah also serves as Board Director and Head of HR for the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan.
Responsibilities
Sarah manages the execution of e@UBCO’s Mentor 2 Market program and supports UBCO-affiliated entrepreneurs throughout their journey – from the first spark of entrepreneurial thinking to the creation of innovative commercial and social impact ventures.
