Biography

Dr. Louzanne Bam is an Industrial Engineer with strong leadership and technical experience in both academic and private sector settings, and extensive experience within the healthcare domain. She has published on topics related to healthcare systems, general management theory, and Operations Research. Dr.  Bam joined UBC Okanagan as a Lecturer in 2024, having previously served as a faculty member at Stellenbosch University’s Department of Industrial Engineering since 2013, where she lectured on Organizational Behavior, Operations Research, Operations Management, and general Industrial Engineering. Prior to that, Dr. Bam worked as a consultant to various healthcare organizations in South Africa and the United Kingdom.
