Jackie has taught across all years of the BSN program with interests in professional practice, relational practice, maternal-child health and leadership.

Biography

Jackie is part of the educational leadership stream, and has been primarily in administrative leadership roles since 2013. Jackie has expertise in administration in higher education, curriculum development and renewal, and has led the school through accreditation. She is a registered nurse, and clinically worked primarily in neonatal care.

She is a passionate advocate for health equity, specifically Indigenous rights and access to culturally safe nursing education and healthcare. She has been involved in several projects related to equity and cultural safety.
